Bollywood’s King Khan and host for the evening of the years biggest award show Filmfare 2010, arrived hand in hand with his wife Gauri Khan who looked stunning in a red colored gown.

Actress Minissha Lamba as soon as she saw hosts of the evening SRK and Saif, she tweeted, “Show just started. SRK wearing red glasses that I love on him soooo much. Saif looking so dapper.. Mistook him for an Italian backstage!!”

At the awards SRK described Karan as sexy and gorgeous, to which he replied, “With a beautiful ladies like Gauri and Kareena, I am sure SRK and Saif are not getting time to look at other girls and so they are noticing me.’

SRK who is the host of the night talked about his gags and said, “This time we will be poking fun at ourselves rather than the others.”

Upset over the Mumbai Mirror issue, which published fabricating news about Aishwarya Rai suffering from stomach tuberculosis, that is not allowing her to conceive, the Bachchan family has decided to Boycott Filmfare Awards, that is owned by the same media company that owns Midday Mirror – Times Group.

Big B announced the news on his blog that the whole Bachchan family and Paa director Balki is going to miss Filmfare this year.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, “There is much here that needs explanation and it would need expanse and more time. Suffice to say for the moment that despite a few personal apologies from management, no public apology has taken place. You cannot abuse me in public and then come and say sorry to me in private.

So ‘ even though we have great relations with the family in ownership and despite the fact that we have continuously responded to their needs whenever desired, unstintingly -

the lawyers notice has been delivered to the editor of Mumbai Mirror, seeking on a legal plane retraction and apology -

and we have informed Filmfare that neither will Aishwarya be performing at the event, for which all preparations had been made and neither shall any of us be attending. Which includes Balki the director of the film, even when Paa has been nominated in five categories for the evening. No coercion, just a voluntary decision of solidarity. Thank you Balki !! Instead he shall be coming over to discuss a few new and exciting ideas for our next film !! Could’nt have chosen a better time !!!”

Amitabh Bachchan is amongst the favorites to win Filmfare Best Actor award for his performance in Paa. Lets see if Times Group will budge and apologize to the Bachchan parivaar to make them attend the award show.

Kareena Kapoor rocked the stage at the ongoing Filmfare Awards 2010 by grooving to her top songs from the year 2009. Pretty Kareena danced to peppy numbers like Zoobie Doobie, Bebo Main Bebo and Kambakht Ishq.

Salman Khan dazzled one and all with his trademark thumkas at the ongoing Filmfare awards 2010. The handsome hunk danced to his hot numbers including the recent hot song Tera Hi Jalwa from Wanted.

Katrina Kaif, the girl in demand in Bollywood, mesmerized the audience with her performance at the ongoing Filmfare Awards 2010. The leggy lass danced to hot numbers like Yaar Nazar Nahi ata and other songs from her movie De Dana Dan.

Aishwarya Rai recently attended the GR8 Women Achievers award wearing a beautiful peach colored Manish Malhotra Saree, and the ex-beauty queen was awarded with GR8 Scroll of Honor for her contribution to Cinema, Social service and Global Recognition.

Aishwarya on receiving the award said, I am not a raging feminist but a humanist, that is the way I have been raised. People like us whenever we get an opportunity we do our bit for women empowerment.”

Deepika Padukone showed her Ada by dancing to her hit tracks at the ongoing Filmfare Awards 2010. Deepika danced to her hit tracks Uff Ter Ada and Aahun Aahun.

Sushmita Sen displayed her stunning figure in a Satin shirt and skinny jeans at recently held GR8 Women Achievers Award and walked away with GR8 special mention for supporting a girl child.

Sushmita on recieving the award said, “My family had always taught me to revere the female energy — she is called Shakti and has the power to create and nurture. My mother is my Shakti.

Other women who won the awards were, Saroj Khan, Aradhna Gupta , Asha Parekh, Shahnaaz Hussain, Lovleen Tandon and Zoya Akhtar.
