There might be long stories behind every first payment from AdSense. One of my friends had to wait four months for getting his first AdSense pay out after reaching the required $100 threshold. Actually the procedure is quite easy in other countries. But for India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and some other African countries, the system is quite troublesome.
Well let me remind you that I am not talking about getting approved by AdSense. I am talking about getting your AdSense account verified by the authority so that they pay you your earned money from AdSense. You might think that getting approved by AdSense is the end of the story at first. But in reality this is the start of the story.
When you will reach the minimum threshold of AdSense pay out, they will send you a PIN number. The PIN will come thorough the normal postal system. Through this, they will verify your home address. After entering the PIN, your account will get verified.
But unfortunately, in the case of my friend, the postal department continuously misplaced the address. They failed to deliver the mail containing the PIN repeatedly. That was a bad experience for him. Moreover, you can request for PIN only for three times. After that your account will get locked.
After failing two times, my friend contacted the support center of the AdSense and informed them the matter. They asked him to send the scanned copies of some identity documents or utility bill documents that have the name of the owner of the account. He then sent them the documents. Fortunately, they verified his account afterwards.
He didn’t know the process earlier. If he knew it earlier, he could have done it sooner. I think if anyone is in same kind of problem , he or she can go for such verification process to get swift action!
