Tech-Savvy Medicine: The Curious Case of Bill and the Computerized Doctor

One day Bill complained to his friend that his elbow really hurt. His friend suggested that he go to a computer at the drug store that can diagnose anything quicker and cheaper than a doctor.

Bill decided to give it a try. He walked into the drug store and found the computer. He poured in some money and typed in his symptoms.

The computer asked him a series of questions about his symptoms, his medical history, and even his lifestyle habits. Bill answered them all as accurately as he could, occasionally chuckling at some of the questions.
